DKNY PRESENTS "VANITY FAIR IN CONCERT"
TO BENEFIT STEP UP WOMEN'S NETWORK

NEW YORK - For the second year in a row Vanity Fair and Donna Karan International present Vanity Fair in Concert, a bi-coastal all-star music celebration taking place in New York City on Monday, October 6 and in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 15. The second annual Vanity Fair in Concert program benefits Step Up Women's Network, an organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for breast-cancer research and other women's causes through national and local events that support and promote the career development of its members. Tickets will be available starting Saturday, September 13 through Ticketmaster at (212) 307-7171 or at www.ticketmaster.com.

Sheryl Crow, Debbie Harry, and Chris Stein will perform at the New York show, October 6 at Hammerstein Ballroom, hosted by Natalie Portman and Chloe Sevigny. The evening will also feature DJ Mark Ronson, DJ Sky, and other musical artists.

While continuing her rigorous touring schedule, Sheryl Crow has been putting the finishing touches on her greatest hits album, The Best of Sheryl Crow, to be released on November 4th. The 9-time Grammy Award winner has also just completed a cameo role in the upcoming Cole Porter biopic, "De-Lovely."

Debbie Harry and Chris Stein of Blondie are currently setting up the new Blondie album entitled The Curse of Blondie, which is set for international release October 6th and a U.S. release in early 2004. The band has just returned from touring in Japan and Australia, and will be embarking on a European tour with their original Blondie bandmates, Jimmy Destri and Clem Burke, in late October.

Macy Gray, Mark McGrath and Camp Freddy, an all-star band headed by Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers), Billy Morrison (the Cult), Scott Ford (Twilight Singers), Donovan Leitch, and Matt Sorum (Guns N' Roses, the Cult) will perform at the Los Angeles show, November 15 at Avalon Theater.

Macy Gray is currently touring domestically and internationally in support of the recent release of her third album: The Trouble With Being Myself. Gray constantly contributes to her multifaceted career with talent that extends into writing, producing and acting.

Said Gray: "In addition to enjoying a good time with friends, this night presents a chance to make a difference in the lives of women and girls everywhere. Can you imagine if everyone made it a priority to educate others about real-deal issues affecting our mothers, sisters and daughters? I can…and it's exciting. Let's all do our part and Step Up to elevate the voices of women everywhere."

"The Vanity Fair in Concert program brings together some of the most influential musical talents in the spirit of philanthropy," said Louis Cona, vice president and publisher of
Vanity Fair. "We are thrilled to once again have the opportunity to work with Donna Karan International and Step Up Women's Network on these two very meaningful events."

Step Up Women's Network founder Kay Popofsky said, "We cannot thank Vanity Fair and Donna Karan International enough for continuing to believe in Step Up and our mission: to get young professional women involved in their communities through fundraising and hands-on volunteering to benefit the health and well-being of women and girls in our communities."

"I feel passionately about supporting family-based charities, such as Step Up Women's Network," said Donna Karan. "To be able to do so in a creative environment, such as the Vanity Fair 'In Concert' program, is our ultimate objective."
