To coincide with the 30th anniversary of Capital Radio, The Capital Gold
Legends Awards will honour outstanding contributions to the music industry
over the past four decades that have shaped the music scene of today.
This annual event will be a prestigious occasion that celebrates the timeless
pop and rock music with which Capital Gold is synonymous.
The glittering invitation-only event will be held at London’s Hilton
Metropole Hotel on Friday 26th September. Over 700 guests will attend,
including celebrities, major recording artists, VIPs and record company
executives.
The NSPCC
has been adopted as the event’s official charity. The NSPCC is the
UK's leading charity specialising in child protection and the prevention
of cruelty to children. The funds raised through this event will help
to make lasting and positive changes to the lives of the children we work
with.
